Brisbane City Council told the developer of a West End apartment project to cut its twin towers' excessive heights, sending the 349-apartment, 16- and 18-storey scheme back. Greens MP Max Chandler-Mather opposed the Griffith project. UDIA president Max Shifman said objections were fuelling the shortage and height limits needed flexibility.
