Cash-strapped golf clubs seek rezoning for housing as planning decisions stall, with AustralianSuper waiting years for ruling on 800 homes at Kingswood, Dingley Village. Intrapac chief executive Max Shifman, whose company has a Keysborough Golf Club sale agreement, says such projects need government support and approvals take too long.
As I told The Age: “These are exactly the kind of projects which need to be supported at times like this,”
I also said: “The state is simply taking too long deciding approvals for the development of sites like Kingswood. It has taken years and still there is no decision.”
